[Video] Bat 001

[An annoyed boy of 10 sits in front of his computer. He has messy black hair partially covered by a hood over his head, and is wearing a domino mask that covers his eyes. He has perfect posture, which enables the camera to catch the upper portion of his Robin costume, complete with its signature “R.”]

All right, Batman, this isn’t funny. You and I both know that the Joker is too dangerous to let live, but I knew you would be against my plan, which is why I waited for you to be away. I was trying to protect you from liability. I had no idea that you would go this far to protect him. Where did you send me? Did you enlist Zatanna to bring me here? Or perhaps Raven? Either way, I demand that you end this foolishness and bring me back right now. This is too much, even for you.

[Damian crosses his arms and his eyes narrow.]

I learned my lesson, Batman, and I demand you bring me back.

[He holds out the crowbar covered in blood to the camera.]

I'll even let you have the crowbar back. Happy?

Don't take it personally, Tim watches everyone. What makes you think he thinks you'll turn into a super villain?

No, although I'd pay to see that, actually. Long story short, someone killed time, we were taken outside of it to this weird island, and if we want to go back we have to fix it. So basically, it must be Saturday.

It was on his computer. He didn't even deny it when I confronted him!

It's hard to earn Tim's trust, and he isn't exactly in the best place right now. I'm sure he'll warm up to you. And look, don't tell Tim I said this, but being Robin meant a lot to him. Having Dick replace him with you, he couldn't have liked that.

He certainly isn't help himself by not talking to Pennyworth or Dick, so it's his own fault. And can I help it that I was the superior choice?

The fact that I do not want my business transmitted across this network does not make me paranoid. And you should have learned encryption years ago.

The guy is stubborn and thinks he can handle everything on his own. Drives the rest of us crazy. Even you have to admit Tim was good at what he did. I'm not saying you aren't doing a good job, but he earned the right to wear the Robin suit, so go a bit easy on him, will you?

You're a Bat, it's in the job description for you to be paranoid. Yeah you're right, I should have tried to pencil that between realizing the human half of my genes came from a villain out to turn me against my friends and being dead for over a year.

And look, I can't say I know Dick as well as you guys, but I've been on missions with him before. He wouldn't keep you around if he thought you were gonna go bad. He's a good guy.

It's precisely because he's a good guy I can see him taking me on as some sort of charity work.

Then keep at it. You've been trying for what, weeks? It took over a year for Tim to start trusting me, and I'm his best friend.

I doubt he'd toss out Tim for the purpose of "charity work."

It was hard to try when Drake's been off globetrotting.

Tim's good at being hard to reach. He comes back eventually, it would probably go better if you stopped trying to beat him up. Besides, you're doing good. Whether Tim approves or not doesn't change that.

I only attacked him because he was going to come after me. It's self-preservation.

What did you do to make him come after you? Tim isn't just gonna attack for no reason.

He had me on his list. He was knocking off the "real" criminals one at a time, and then he was heading for me. I decided to nip it in the bud.

You don't know that for sure. Tim thinks is strange ways, they were probably backup plans. Hell, you should be proud he thinks you could be a threat. It means he needs a plan to take you down, you're that good.

On that note, Tim is an idiot sometimes and he can defend himself, I don't know enough about this thing to say anything.

As much as it kinda sucks, Tim already knows how to take me down. He doesn't need a list for it.
