All right, Batman, this isn’t funny. You and I both know that the Joker is too dangerous to let live, but I knew you would be against my plan, which is why I waited for you to be away. I was trying to protect you from liability. I had no idea that you would go this far to protect him. Where did you send me? Did you enlist Zatanna to bring me here? Or perhaps Raven? Either way, I demand that you end this foolishness and bring me back right now. This is too much, even for you.

[Damian crosses his arms and his eyes narrow.]

I learned my lesson, Batman, and I demand you bring me back.

[He holds out the crowbar covered in blood to the camera.]

I'll even let you have the crowbar back.  Happy?

Whatever. [He's pretty sure that it had taken several hours. But it's not like he's the petty one and there were other arguments he could save his breath for.]

Really. Even if you did, do you actually understand why we do things the way we do them? Have you tried that? Because looking at your stunt with the Joker, I don't see that much of a difference to what you did to the Spook.

I didn't know you didn't kill when I decapitated the Spook. Mother said-- [And the light bulb goes off. Now he's just annoyed at himself for falling into his mother's trap than anything.]

The Joker's different. He can't be saved, Drake. He's a monster, clear and simple. I wasn't going after Catwoman, Two-Face, or even that new Black Mask running around. This is the Joker we're talking about here. He will break out of Arkham again, and he will kill again. Like I said to Todd, if you cut out his tongue he'll just find out another way to communicate. You have to take out his brain to take out the threat. He'll still be alive. Your precious rules will still be in place. Someone will just have to mop up his drool at the end of the day, and he can never hurt anyone ever again.
