In-Game Character Information
Name: Damian Wayne
Series: DC Comics
Age: 11
Personality: Damian, thanks to being related to three of the craziest motherfuckers on the planet and raised by the League of Magicians, has next to no interpersonal skills to speak of. He’s quick to react to situations with either violence or logic, one of the few things he’s comfortable with, and if violence or logic aren’t the solution, he stumbles. When interacting with others he’s constantly trying to prove his superiority rather than trying to relate to them. In fact, the idea of relating to another human being completely eludes him.
He also has a humongous ego, no doubt fed by the league and his mother, as it seems a requirement for all Al Ghul’s to have one (although Damian’s is definitely the largest). He truly believes that he is the best at everything he does, and cannot understand the fact that there may be (and are) people that are better than him (with the exception of his parents). He also doesn’t realize that he’s not nearly as smart as he thinks he is (his detective skills are terrible, to say the least), or as clever. This might stem from the fact that no one seems to take him all that seriously, leading him to try even harder to prove himself worthy of their time and to prove his greatness.
Which leads us to our next point… He’s a brat. He expects to get his way at all times, and whenever anyone actually has the nerve to deny him, he will throw a temper tantrum. I mean really, who would deny him anything?
And finally, no matter how tough he may act, no matter how important he may think he is, he’s still a kid and has a lot of growing up to do.
Background: Damian was born into the Al Ghul family, one of the oldest wizarding families in the middle east (mainly because Ra’s Al Ghul created his own philosopher’s stone and has been alive for hundreds of years). He spent the first eight years of his life bouncing from tutor to expensive tutor, learning the ways of dark magic from his grandfather’s League of Magicians. I mean, who needs to see their family when they’re studying to be the best wizard in the world? It took skill to surpass his grandfather in battle, after all.
While under the care of his tutors, his mother, Talia, made certain to keep his world as small and narrow as possible, in order to prevent him from developing views that differed from the ones she wanted him to have. Such behavior also left Damian with another side effect—he became insufferably arrogant from never hearing “no” or having his opinion questioned. Whatever he wanted, he got. He had a pet chocobo at four, a hand of glory at six, and so on. No one, not even his mother, could handle his attitude for very long, and he began to bounce around even more frequently than before.
His world got turned upside down when Bruce Wayne, his father, entered his life. In the middle east on Muggle business, Bruce had seen Talia up to no good and under the guise of Batman broke into the League of Magicians' headquarters. There, he ran into the son he never knew existed. From Talia, father and son learned of their connection to one another, and she allowed the two to spend some time together during the remainder of Bruce's trip (albeit guarded).
Damian became strangely fond of his father, who was so different from everyone else in his life. Fondness grew to obsession, and soon Damian was plotting to travel to America to meet him again. Through his grandfather’s vast intelligence network, he learned that his father had moved to Hogwarts to become a teacher, and so his obsession grew. At one point he was foiled from selling off his grandfather’s prized phoenix in exchange for a map of Hogwarts.
Just when he was beginning to lose hope—he received his acceptance letter. And he didn’t have to break in.
Blood: Full-Blooded
Preferred House: Torn between Slytherin and Gryffindor
Why you think they belong in this house? At first glance he may be an obvious Slytherin, (he's a pure blood, ambitious, and cunning) however I'm not too sure it's that cut and dry. He's shown in canon he's capable of changing and calming down, and as he changes he's shown time and time again he wants to do the right thing... He just doesn't know what the right thing is, yet. He's also got bravery in spades, and has a tendency to rush into situations without thinking.
That, and his father is a Gryffindor and he really wants to follow in his footsteps.
School Year: 1
Quidditch Position: None, though Damian thinks he’s more than currently qualified.
Would you like the character to possibly get a higher position? Yes, but really I think the correct answer is n/a.

So I am expected to do what with this journal, exactly? Share my thoughts with the entirety of the school? Forget it. I'm here for one purpose and one purpose only, and it is not to share my feelings with others. You will not be seeing me recount my experiences or express my beliefs. This is stupid, and quite frankly, a waste of precious space in my dorm. Why on earth we have to share rooms is beyond my comprehension. I had more space in my closet at home.
Father, if you are reading this, I would like to speak with you.
Roleplay Sample:
Damian was well aware it was past curfew, but it didn't stop him from wandering the halls. He was Damian Al--no, Damian Wayne--the rules didn't apply to him. If, for any preposterous reason he was stopped, he would merely explain who his parents are and go on his way. If that didn't work he supposed he would be forced to hex them for their stupidity. He was on a mission, and he wasn't going to allow anyone to stop him.
Ever since he had heard his father had moved to Hogwarts to teach Muggle Studies--Muggle Studies, really? Way to choose the stupidest class to teach, father--Damian had made it his mission to meet with him again. And now that he was here (officially, no less), he had seen neither hide nor hair of his father since the sorting ceremony. That was changing tonight. He would see his father, and he would take his place as his father's rightful heir. He was the worthy one, after all. Those other impostors were a waste of space.
